What's The Plan?

Right now, just sitting around and being lazy.

No, we're doing our research, trying to make absolute sure that Bristol County, MA is liveable for us. We're also on John Treacy's real estate mailing list (incidentally... John's one of the few people to correctly guess the origin of my name as "some sort of Scandinavian". That wins him points, much as my name's been botched over the years...) He knows we're looking for the larger plots, he knows our price range, and we're just seeing what comes through in the next few months.

(What we'd really love to have is Portsmouth, NH without the bad winters!!! Let's see if that exists...)

This throws Bruce's target move date of July 1 out the window, of course, but that was with the idea of renting. (And why throw out unnecessary money?) So, we'll see what floats by in the next few months, along with seeing exactly how much we can fork over for down payment, etc. without going into "jumbo loan" territory.

And if something comes up... great! We'll fly out there (but hopefully not with two transfers this time!) and check out the land, make our decision, etc. (Gotta use up the frequent flyer miles before United disappears...)
